TOKO’s philosophy, dating back more than 80 years to our founding in 1937, is rooted in helping our customers realize their highest aspirations. We have consistently pursued the manufacture of specialized, fine cutting tools and customized solutions, rather than focusing on standard tools. At the turn of the century, we expanded into the aircraft, printing, stationery, food, shoemaking, energy, light and heavy electric, machine parts, and other industries. In addition, we broadened our offering from cutting tool bits to include shaft tools such as drills, end mills, reamers, and cutters. We frequently fulfill special orders, helping our customers solve their most difficult challenges. For us, the payoff comes when we hear, “After years of searching, we finally found a manufacturer that completely fulfills our requirements. Only TOKO does such a good job.”

More recently, TOKO entered the medical device market, capitalizing on our advanced technologies and expertise. Beginning with boine-shaving tools for artifical joint replacement procedures, we progressed to ISO13485 certification, and 2nd Class Manufacturing and Marketing Authorization under the PMDA, and developed our unique Omega Drill and Pearl Ring devices.
