OMEGA DRILL

In which medical specialties is the Omega Drill used?

The Omega Drill is used in orthopedics, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, and dental surgery, among others.

Why doesn’t the Omega Drill slip?

It is designed with a spike-shaped tip that allows it to penetrate and securely hold its position on curved surfaces without skiving.

What is the maximum allowable angle of incidence for the Omega Drill?

It can be used at angles up to 30°.

Can the Omega Drill minimize heat generation?

Yes, due to its excellent cutting performance, heat generation can be reduced, which helps prevent tissue necrosis.

Is the Omega Drill available in custom sizes?

The Omega Drill can be produced in diameters ranging from 0.8mm to 20mm, and at lengths of 50mm to approximately 300mm. For smaller or larger sizes, please consult with us.

When is the Pearl Ring used?

The Pearl Ring is designed for use during breast-conserving surgery to remove cancer tissue.

What are the benefits of the Pearl Ring?

The Pearl Ring is designed to securely grip tissue, enabling precise and smooth partial resection, and reduced procedure times. It ensures clean resection margins, preventing compromised cosmetic outcomes.

How many sizes of Pearl Ring are available?

The Pearl Ring is available in two diameters, 35mm and 45mm. The 45mm size is made to order and has a lead time of three months.

What is the white coating on the ring portion?

The Pearl Ring’s proprietary nylon coating is antithrombogenic, heat resistant, impact resistant, and electrically insulative.

How can the Pearl Ring be sterilized?

The recommended sterilization method is high-pressure steam sterilization at 121°C (249.8°F) for 15 minutes, 126°C (258.8°F) for 10 minutes, or 134°C (273.2°F) for 3 minutes.
