This is a cartilage harvest reamer used for autologous osteochondral transplantation of the knee joint. The customer’s overseas surgical tools were discontinued and difficult to obtain. They found it hard to find a domestic manufacturer that could produce custom medical devices, and consulted with us at a conference. We borrowed the customer’s overseas blades, accurately traced the dimensions, and reproduced the product. The reproduced product not only fit and functioned well but also exceeded the cutting performance of the original product. The customer continues to consult with us for reamers.
