This is a fixation pin used for external fixation of the femur. The customer used single-use pins for non-implanted pins, increasing costs. They consulted with us, and the price estimate for reuse matched the doctor’s expectations, so they requested manufacturing from TOKO. We selected tool materials with high penetration shape and high-hardness stainless steel, and designed the product suitable for the usage environment. As a result, the expected reuse count was achieved, leading to cost reduction.
